Long Live The Living Legends.
Long Live The Living Legends.
Here’s to the quiet irreverence that never takes anything for granted.
A History Worth Knowing.
It’s different here.
It’s the difference between elite and exclusive. Between come on in and wait out there. Between knowing what you have and talking about what you have.
Tamarisk was built on the principle that character, integrity, a love of golf, and companionship is all that matters. And what was true back then is even more true now.

The widening green, tall palms, and blistering blue of sky. The belonging. The vitality. And the quiet irreverence that never takes anything for granted. The living full-hearted in everything we do.

A curated experience
ART AT TAMARISK
Selected and installed each year by professional curators, every season tells a unique story and provides a dramatically different experience. Rotating world-class contemporary art installations complement the Steven Harris and Lucien Rees-Roberts 2021 clubhouse renovation. ART AT TAMARISK enhances Club programming and events with the annual “Cocktails + Dinner with Artists” program featuring the season’s curator and artists followed by a seated dinner; scheduled and bespoke docent-led tours; day and overnight visits to Southern California artists’ studios, galleries and museums; and informal monthly Back Room educational sessions followed by cocktails. Now in its fifth year, the program has exhibited 50+ artists including Lari Pittman, Catherine Opie, Diana Thater, Sterliing Ruby, Jack Pierson, Liz Larner, Lita Albuquerque, Andrea Zittell, Jay Lynn Gomez, Elliott Hundley, Abraham Cruzvillegas, Brian Rochefort, Tanya Aguiñiga, Sofia Enriquez, Esther Pearl Watson, Nick Aguayo, Merion Estes, Roy Dowell, John Divola, Phillip K. Smith III and Sara Genn. Member participation for these events is high and has enriched the culture and the identity of the club. The Season Five curator will be announced in the fall.
